Here’s what’s happening this week with Jets. Getting into the swing of the season and it’s great to see so many at all the sessions.
TRAINING
TUESDAY – St Augustines – Men 1 & 2 – 6.45pm to 8.15pm followed by Women 1 & 2 – 8.15pm to 9.45pm
WEDNESDAY – Drummond – Mixed recreational – 7pm to 9pm (All levels, incl NL players welcome) (£3 per session £2 concession, NL player paying by stand order – free)
THURSDAY – St Augustines – Women 1 & 2 – 6.30pm to 8pm followed by Men 1 – 8pm to 9.30pm
THURSDAY – Drummond – Juniors 6.45pm to 7.30pm (11+ £2 per session)
THURSDAY – Drummond – Men 2 & Women 3 – 7.30pm to 9pm (£4 per session, £3 concession) – non team players interested in attending this session should contact the club initially before attending.
DYNAMO CUP
W1 are playing in the Dynamo Cup on Sunday 27th September. This start of season competition is being hosted by City of Edinburgh VC at Queensferry High School. Jets will play City of Edinburgh, Su Ragazzi and NUVOC. Spectators are very welcome and Jets W1 would appreciate the support. Get along for a day of high quality volleyball.
Tournament starts 9:45, our first game is at 11am.
REGISTRATION & TRAINING FEES
Reminder that registrations must be completed as soon as possible. The Treasurer will be at training on Tuesday to collect the SVA registration fee of £42.50.
Standing orders for training fees need to be set up as soon as possible – £35 per month, £28 concession. Any players who want to play in NL team should set up as soon as possible. Jets Volleyball is a non-profit organisation and fees are set at such level as to cover costs only of providing facilities and equipment.
MEN 2 CUP MATCH
Men’s 2 Round 1 Cup Match vs. Stirling University is confirmed as 4pm for 4.30pm first ball at Stirling University on Saturday 3rd October.
